Madresfield Court Tours
Having been closed to the public for the past three years, this year we have revised our visitor arrangements.
Opening Times
- Our visitor season for 2023 runs from the end of April to the end of June with a one week break at half term
- The house will be open on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays with four guided tours a day
- 11.00 am
- 12.00 midday
- 1.30 pm
- 2.30 pm
- 11.00 am
- The house will be closed on
- Monday 1st May for the May Day Bank Holiday
- Monday 8th May for the Bank Holiday to mark the Coronation
- Monday 29th to Wednesday 31st May for the School Half Term week
Tours
- Access to the house is by guided tour only.
- Tours take around 1 ½ hours and start from the Play Room in the Stable Block
- After your tour you are welcome to enjoy the gardens.
- Tours should be pre-booked via the website.
- Each tour can accommodate a maximum of 15 visitors
We can also arrange small, private group tours on any of the available dates shown on the calendar at an extra cost. Please email Helen Vose at tours@madresfieldestate.co.uk if this may be of interest to you
Prices
Madresfield Court Tour: £15 for Adults 16+
The Madresfield Estate reserves the right to cancel a tour at any time prior to its commencement and at the Madresfield Estate’s complete discretion. In such an event customer will be offered either a full refund or the opportunity to book onto an alternative tour date within a 12-month period, subject to availability. The Madresfield Estate will not be held liable for any consequential loss incurred as a result of the cancelation of a Tour.
Accessibility
We want everyone to feel welcome but please be aware that there are a lot of stairs on the tour route and nowhere to sit down during the tour. If you think that this may be a problem, please contact us at the time of booking (or a minimum of 7 days prior to the tour) and we will see if there are any reasonable adjustments that can be made to accommodate you and to ensure your visit is as enjoyable as possible.
Car Parking
Please follow the signs for Madresfield Court and go through the electrically operated gates at the end of the drive which will automatically open as your vehicle approaches. Our clearly signposted car parking areas are a short walk from the Court itself, adjacent to the Stables and Play Room where the tour starts.
Tea Room
There are currently no refreshment facilities
Dog Policy
We regret that no dogs are permitted within the house except Assistance Dogs.
WC Facilities
There are toilet facilities in the Play Room building where the tour starts.
Security
Please note that CCTV is in operation in various locations around the premises.
